I The Banaue Rice Terraces are a National Cultural Treasure of The Philippines and are considered to be the 8th Natural Wonder of the World by many Filipinos. The terraces are carved in the mountains of Ifugao and were most likely done by hand.
III The Eiffel Tower was built for the World Exhibition in 1889, held in celebration of the French Revolution in 1789.
IV Standing majestically on the banks of River Yamuna, the Taj Mahal is synonymous with love and romance. The name “Taj Mahal” was derived from the name of Shah Jahan’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and means “Crown Palace.”
V The Monument to Zumbi is located on Presidente Vargas Avenue, in Rio de Janeiro. It is 7 meters high. Its base is made of concrete and white marble. An 800-kilo bronze male head sits at the top of the monument. It has been cited as an example of African Art.
