ABSTRACT
There are certain
objects that, for various reasons, don’t fit as deserving to be
considered by the histories of art. They are evil things. The garden gnomes, located in
an area between home and the outside world, between good and evil, are pieces that,
located in gardens, render difficult to constitute collections of interest for art; whether by
their nature or by their saga. However, they can suggest other ways of doing art
history.
