In the Array View section, select the critical array.

At the Disk List section, double click on a disk.
At the Disk menu, select Options. Options for Disk Device displays in the Disk List panel.
Perform one of the following actions:
• To use the disk as a dedicated spare, select Assign as Dedicated Spare.
• To use the disk as a global spare, select Assign as Global Spare.
