Start RAIDXpert2
The RAIDXpert2 graphical user interface (GUI) is a browser-based tool that reads from and writes
to an internal Apache-based web server (Apache Software Foundation) that contains the RAID
arrays and disc information.
For successful communication between the RAIDEXpert2 GUI and the Apache2.4
web server, the
Apache2.4 web server service and the RAIDXpert2
rc_cgi service (where
cgi = common gateway
interface) must be running.
The
rc_cgi service opens a localhost port as a LISTENING port that allows
browser access to the
web server. If the Apache2.4 service has failed or is not running, the
error message cannot reach
this page or similar appears.
If the RAIDXper2–CGI (rc_cgi) service fails or is not running,
License Level 0 – No RAID is
displayed (indicating that RAIDXpert2 is not supported) and the
Submit button is grayed out. You
cannot login.
Access RAIDXpert2 using a web browser or a Windows shortcut.
