A atual Biblioteca da Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, teve o seu embrião em 1994, num espaço no Palácio de Santa Helena, no Largo do Sequeira, n.º 7, em Lisboa, começando a funcionar com cerca de 4.000 monografias, das quais 3.000 foram oferecidas pelo Prof. Victor de Sá, docente e 1º Bibliotecário Geral da Universidade Lusófona.


Em 17 de Novembro de 2000, a Biblioteca muda para novas instalações, as atuais, no Campo Grande, nº 380-B, num edíficio contíguo ao da Universidade, mantendo a designação.
Hoje é um espaço privilegiado da Universidade, com um significativo acervo documental, em constante atualização, constituído por cerca 60.000 documentos em suporte papel:

45.000  Monografias, 15.000 Monografias em depósito de reservados, 1.300 títulos de publicações em série
